March is already upon us. Time travels so quickly. Of course, much has happened in the world since I submitted the February scenario.
The coolest thing to occur has been the publication of the latest KC ASL Club March Madness Pack for 2022.
Click the link above to order the latest or any of the recent March Madness Packs. They are all outstanding with a great variety of campaign theaters and victory conditions.
It's an amazing feeling to see your scenarios get published and to have an entire pack is just overwhelming.
Hopefully, the scenarios will end up being fun. The KC guys spent over a year playtesting them, so they should be ready for primetime. Of course time will tell.
And yes, Osprey helped me with my homework again. They really are an invaluable source for scenario ideas. Steven J. Zalonga authored this particular volume. I became a real fan of this author after reading his book, Smashing Hitler's Panzers. If you have not read any of his material, I highly recommend that you do.
This month's scenario is not unique. There is another scenario that covers this same action. LFT 07 Jackson's Fire is based on the same engagement. Hower in Jackson's Fire, the Americans are the attacker. My scenario covers the second half of the engagement as the Germans attack towards Puffendorf after repulsing the morning attack by the Americans.
So, playing both games in sequence could give you a bit of a mini-CG!!!
The armor losses would be heavy for both sides and the mud would also plague all the tanks involved.
Not much else to say, here now is the March Scenario. Our friend, Frank Leitz is once again providing the PDF version, which will be available at the ASL Scenario Archive.
As always these monthly "Basement Quality" Scenarios are offered for fun only and as a thank you to the readers of this blog.
Remember to open pictures in a new window in order to maximize the size.
And as always, these scenarios can be downloaded from The ASL Scenario Archive
(just search on Grumble Jones).
I'm very happy for you for your first (I noticed the Vol. I caption, so a Vol. II will be published in the future...) scenario pack. BTW, do you know when will be available for purchase at ASL Scenario Archive? I'm for sure one of your assured customers.
ReplyDeleteMy apologies Luis, I don't know when they plan to make the pack available on the ASL Archive. Thanks for all of your support these many years!
DeleteIt's already in the ASL Scenario Archive. And payed and downloaded. A pleasure to return to your scenarios, and very satisfied for you, as is a fair tribute to all your efforts for the ASL community. Shout-out to Grumble Jones, indeed!
ReplyDeleteThank you Luis!
