Ok...I've convinced myself to do it. I'm going to put in for the vacation to participate in the Texas Tournament.
Now a question...how does one prepare for such an event and how do I properly transport the boards, counter trays, etc. to the event? Do you roll a suitcase in there? Exactly what is customary at such events.
Keep in mind, this is a huge leap for me. I've never attended any kind of tournament and haven't played ASL against a new opponent since 1997.
So, I'll be as rusty as the tin man after a nice long monsoon.
