One of the joys of being a member of Amazon Vine is the chance to read very new books. I am currently reading and reviewing this outstanding book by Alex Kershaw.
It hits the shelves in November and I highly recommend it.
The journey of the 45th ended with the liberation of Dachau.
I went to Dachau in 1985. It's the only concentration camp I have ever personally visited. Even as a memorial it left an impression on me. I cannot even imagine the horror of actually liberating it and witnessing the true inhumanity of the Nazi Regime.
We can never thank men like Felix Sparks enough for their service not only to our country, but a free world.
