Completed turn 1 of ASL J27 last night. I drew the Soviets and am attacking a good strength German defense in a stone building paradise.
I have 4 SU-76's and promptly watched two go up in smoke to the German 75 ART and 37L. ROF is not my friend. After 3 ROF's, my opponent finally took out one with the 37L.
Infantry wise, I am bunched up on the North edge of the map. And naturally, this is the avenue of attack, my opponent has defended against.
On the South edge, I got lucky and DM'd the one squad blocking my approach. But alas, I don't have the manpower on that part of the board.
We'll start turn 2 in two weeks. So I have lots of time to ponder my next move.
