Finished the scenario yesterday evening. The Soviets managed to hold the trench with a single 8-0 and 5-2-7 until the second Close Combat on turn 5 finished them for good. A Soviet 4-5-8 tried gallantly to run up the hill and reinforce their comrades, but the German 10-2 rolled Snake-eyes with a 20 factor shot that destroyed the Soviets.
The remaining Soviets coming up from the open ground to the northeast were finally halted by machinegun fire from the hill and this concluded the game with a German victory.
