Grumble Jones 2023 "From Your Momma's Basement Pack" VII

2023 is now only days away from its final departure into history. It has been another amazing year of ASL. Yesterday marked my 115th game of the year. And it was a game that was decided on the final close combat roll after 6-1/2 turns of slugging it out. It wasn't a pretty win but proved once again the efficacy of VBM sleaze freeze on your opponent. I would do it three times in the course of the game.

Today's post is the annual posting of all the year's Grumble Jones scenarios in one post...straight from your Momma's Basement!!!

Longtime readers of this blog know that Grumble Jones scenarios are not play tested and in no way meet the standards of other third-party publishers who spend considerable time and effort to create great, polished scenarios. Grumble Jones scenarios are purely for fun (hopefully they are from time to time) and are truly provided as a tangible thank you to the readers of this blog whose support has sustained it for the past 12 years.

This year's scenarios covered a variety of fronts from the CBI, to the Easter Front, to Arnhem, to China, Italy, German and East Africa. For the first time, a World War I scenario would show itself. Our friends in Kansas City (Encircled Productions) will soon complete their epic World War I pack complete with counters, etc. It will be a great complimentary product to the world of ASL.

This year's Halloween Scenario was another great collaboration with our good friend Rick Reinesch. He designed a fantastic stand alone map for the "The Eagle Has Landed" scenarios. Next year will be a return to zombies in the classic ASL Scenario Subterranean Quarry.

As always, my thanks to my readers who graciously allow me to indulge my creative itch and put these scenarios out in the community.

I look forward to the 2024 scenarios!!!

As always, these monthly "Basement Quality" Scenarios are offered for fun only and as a thank you to the readers of this blog.
