Maurice Rose, was born the son and grandson of a rabbi and went on to
become the highest ranking Jewish officer in the United States Army. During his
military career he earned the following honors:

Rose was the highest-ranking American killed by enemy fire in the European Theater of Operations during the war.

ReplyDeleteUGH...major error on my VC - I indicated that Gen. Rose was to exit Board 62 on the west edge...it should be the east edge, which most probably realized once they saw the Hex call out...but still bad editing on my part. My apologies to everyone.
