150th Anniversary of the Battle of Franklin

Another nod to history and remembering the Battle of Franklin, TN. Back in 1990, I worked for the Missouri Historical Society in St. Louis, MO. In September as Ken Burn's epic Civil War was raging on PBS, our Museum embarked on a Flag Collection conservation effort. And incredibly with the help of Steve Allie from the Ft. Leavenworth Museum, we found a CSA Battleflag from the Battle of Franklin. An amazing and exciting moment and the only occasion where I was able to co-author a published document.
